Tough Climb Ahead
We walked clockwise around the lake and past the dark bit towards the north.

Here you see a pit cut out of the sandstone rocks. Water filled, lots of duckweed and bits of rope swings hanging from the trees above.

As kids, you'd climb up the bank up to Park Hall Road. This was and still is a 60 mile/hr road, so it would be a quick sprint across.

Ahead of you would be the daunting hike up the first hill of Park Hall Country Park.
